Summary of position:
Contracting and Procurement Assistant (m/f):
Under the general supervision of CSDP Contracting and Procurement Officer, inputs and maintains data in GAC’s financial management system (FAS); provides Contracting and Procurement services to the client embassies of the Common Service Delivery Point (CSDP); provides Regional Contract Review Board (RCRB) support; manages information and files; and performs other duties related to CSDP activities.

Accounts Payable Assistant (m/f):
Under the general supervision of CSDP Account Payable Supervisor, inputs and maintains data in DFATD’s financial management system (FAS); provides accounting and financial services to the client missions of the Common Service Delivery Point (CSDP); provides financial services to the managers and staff of CSDP client mission; manages information and accounts payable files; and performs other duties related to CSDP activities.

Essential qualifications:
Essential Qualifications
Candidates will initially be screened on the essential qualifications below and must demonstrate in their cover letter and c.v. how they meet these criteria. Only those candidates who meet all the Essential Requirements and demonstrate this clearly within their application will then proceed to the next stage of the process. The essential qualifications are:

Education:
- School leaving exam (Abitur or equivalent) and a minimum of three years full-time work experience in an office environment; or,
- University degree in Administration, Business, Accounting, Economics or a related field and a minimum of 6 months full-time work experience in an office environment

Full time work experience in an office environment to include the following activities:
- Working experience with SAP or other Enterprise Management Software; Project Management or Procurement software; or databases or similar software
- Using various word processing, data management and email software or systems such as Microsoft Suite
- Providing advice and guidance to clients

Language:
- Professional level in English (oral and written)

Candidates must also meet the Rated Requirements shown below, which will be assessed through any of the following: cover letter, written test, oral communication, interview and reference checks. The rated requirements are:
