Summary of position:
Under the direction of the common service delivery point (CSDP) Finance Section Manager (FSM) the incumbent provides key financial control for the CSDP by developing, examining and certifying accounts; implements new policies, internal procedures and new financial regulations at the CSDP. The incumbent plans and provides training sessions on the financial systems, policies and procedures to host and client mission staff of all programs; supervises Banking and Revenue team.

Essential qualifications:
1. A university degree OR a professional designation (Bilanzbuchhalter, CPA, etc.) OR a completed vocational business education (kaufmännische Ausbildung) PLUS two years of recent and relevant work experience such as accounting, external or internal audit, internal controls, financial compliance or financial operations.

OR

A high school certificate PLUS five years of recent and relevant work experience such as accounting, external or internal audit, internal controls, financial compliance or financial operations.

2. Professional level in English

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates who have the following asset qualifications:

1. Experience working in a job sharing arrangement
2. Work experience in an international or public service environment
3. Knowledge and experience with SAP (e.g. FI/CO)
4. Experience as a team leader or a supervisor
5. Professional level of French and German

If candidates meet the factors listed in the asset qualifications they must also clearly demonstrate how they meet these factors in their covering letter.

• Ability to travel on occasion

Condition(s) of Employment:
• Ability to obtain an Enhanced Reliability Clearance
• Valid work permit for Germany for an indeterminate period at present
