Summary of position:
Under the supervision of the Common Service Officer, the incumbent is accountable for the provision of administrative support services of mission-specific common services; and the coordination of regionalized common services requests from the mission to the CSDP. Responsible for the provision of documents, information and a variety of administrative services in support of more than one of the following areas: finance, human resources, materiel management, procurement, contracting, property and facilities management processes.

Essential qualifications:
Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, experience and language. Candidates must clearly demonstrate in their cover letter and CV how they meet each of these essential qualifications.
Education:
• Successful completion of a university degree from a recognized university

Language:
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Fluency in Arabic (oral and written)


Experience:
• Experience working in an office environment in an administrative role for a minimum of three (3) years.

Rated Requirements
The Rated Requirements relating to knowledge, abilities and competencies will also be assessed. Methods of assessment may include, but are not limited to, a written examination, an oral interview, role-play, practical tests, presentations and/or psychometric assessment.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications in their cover letter and CV.
• Experience working in SAP Finance or similar accounting software
• Experience working in account payables or account receivables
• Successful completion of a university degree from a recognized university in a financial or accounting field of study


Organizational Needs:

Operational Requirements:
• Ability to work overtime (evenings and weekends if necessary)
• Annual leave may be restricted due to operational needs
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Willingness to undergo training

Condition(s) of Employment:
• Ability to obtain and maintain a UAE residence visa.
• Must be residing in the UAE when the offer of employment is made.
• Ability to obtain and retain an enhanced reliability clearance (security clearance). The appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to a Reliability Check (RC) obtained by the Management. To conduct the Reliability Check (RC), the candidate will have to submit the following documents on being selected by the mission.
o Police clearance certificate for the last 10 years
o Professional and educational certificates and mark sheets (i.e., academic transcripts)
• Maintenance of a valid passport
