Property Assistant (m/f/d)

The starting salary for a full-time position is 3,141 EUR gross per month plus a 13th months salary and benefits.

Summary of position:
Under the supervision of the Property and Service Manager, gathers data for the development of the budget for the leasing, operation and maintenance of all crown-held properties; provides support in the administration and in the processing of various types of common services transactions; assists in the maintenance of Staff Quarter leasing contract records, and ensures timely lease renewal in accordance with departmental regulations, and applicable contractual obligations; and performs other duties; assists with the maintenance, repair, upkeep and security of all crown-owned and leased properties; replaces the Property & Material Assistant and the Events Coordinator during absences.

Essential qualifications:
Candidates will initially be screened on the Essential Requirements below and must demonstrate in their cover letter/c.v. how they meet these criteria. The Essential Requirements are:
- Completed post-secondary degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

- Significant work experience* in an administrative position
*Significant work experience is defined as three years full-time out of the past five.

- Fluent level (written and oral) of German
- Intermediate level (written and oral) of English

Candidates must also meet the Rated Requirements shown below, which will be assessed through any of the following: cover letter, written test, oral communication, interview and reference checks.

The Rated Requirements are:

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates who have the following asset qualifications. Candidates must also clearly demonstrate how they meet these factors in their cover letter.

The Asset qualifications are:
- Work experience in an international environment such as an Embassy, NGO or abroad
- Work experience with SAP or similar software products
- Working ability in French

- Willingness to work overtime
