Summary of position:
The Property & Logistics Clerk maintains inventory records and systems and ensures that the movement and disposal of inventoried items are accurately tracked; receives and organizes materiel and receives requests for supplies from clients for appropriate distribution; and organizes and controls the maintenance of the mission’s hospitality equipment and pack-up kits.

Essential qualifications:

Language: Fluency in English and Filipino

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university

- At least 2 years of recent* experience with standard office procedures
- Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office
*”Recent” is defined as within the last five (5) years

Condition(s) of Employment:
The successful candidate must:

1. Obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance from the Government of Canada. This involves, among other things, criminal record checks, credit checks and validation of qualifications.

2. If non-citizen of the Philippines, have the possession of or ability to procure a valid working permit in the Philippines for an indeterminate period.

3. Meet the employer’s medical requirements by undergoing a medical evaluation by a physician.

4. Be able and committed to working additional hours as required, and on short notice, during evenings and weekends.

Area of selection:
Open to Philippines nationals and expatriates with or eligible for a work permit, who meet the Essential Qualifications and are currently residing in the Philippines.

Important Notes:
Candidates will initially be screened on the Essential Qualifications and must demonstrate in their cover letter how they meet these criteria. Only those candidates who meet all the Essential Requirements will proceed to the next stage of the process.

2. Candidates who fail to confirm their attendance at our written exam and/or interview will be considered withdrawn from the process.

4. Candidates are advised that the exam and interview will only be re-scheduled under these exceptional circumstances:
a. Medical reason with certificate
b. Pre-arranged travel with proof
c. Pre-scheduled training with proof
d. Death in the family
e. Other exceptional reason deemed acceptable by the Selection Board
