Summary of position:
Under the supervision of the CSO, the incumbent is accountable for the provision of administrative support services of mission specific common services and the coordination of regionalized common services requests from the mission to the CSDP. Responsible for the provision of documents, information and a variety of administrative services in support of more than one of the following areas: finance, human resources, materiel management, procurement, contracting, property and facilities management processes.

Essential qualifications:
Essential Qualifications
Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, experience and language. Candidates must clearly demonstrate in their cover letter and CV how they meet each of these essential qualifications. Only those candidates who meet all the Essential Requirements will proceed to the next stage of the process.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. finance, accounting, economy, administration, business administration, payroll, etc.); or
• an acceptable combination of education, training and experience – at least 3 years’ recent* experience in a finance, accounting and administration
*Recent is defined as within the past 7 years.

Language

• Fluent in English (oral and written)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience within the last 7 years working in an office environment in an administrative support capacity (in finance and accounting, administration)

Rated Requirements
Candidates must also meet the Rated Requirements shown below, which will be assessed through any of the following: written test, an oral interview, role-play, practical tests, references, presentations and/or psychometric assessment.
Candidates who are screened in will be required to complete a written test. Only the candidates retained after the test will be contacted for an interview. The interview will consist of a series of questions and/or exercises in order to evaluate the aptitudes and qualifications of each candidate.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications in their cover letter and CV.
• Experience in a finance or accounting department;
• Successful completion of a university degree in relevant field for example administration, management, accounting, HR
• Fluency in Arabic (both oral and written);
• Experience in HR administration and payroll preparation;
• Experience working for a diplomatic mission or an international organization
• Knowledge of French (oral and written)
If candidates meet the factors listed in the asset qualifications they must also clearly demonstrate how they meet these factors in their covering letter.

• Ability to work regular overtime (evenings and weekends) as required
• Annual leave during summer period may be restricted due to operational needs.

Condition(s) of Employment:
• Must be a legal resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and eligible to work therein;
• Valid passport and Saudi residency permit(Iqama)
• Iqama transfer required (Kindly note that the embassy sponsors all eligible indeterminate employees. Only professional Iqama can be transferred to the embassy. The embassy cannot transfer an applicant currently on a dependent iqama (i.e. spouse or child)
• Obtain and retain an enhanced reliability clearance (security clearance)
• Successful completion of a one (1) year probation period
• Successful candidates must pass a routine medical examination (Funded by the Embassy)
